Today we woke up Tiny tortoise with a nice long bath, and only put him out in the shade. This has made the world of difference and he spent most of the day exploring and climbing very small spaces.
Not only this, but Tiny tortoise has eaten all his dandelion, most his bind weed and all of his bindweed flower !

Today tiny tortoise hasn't eaten anything - he mostly stayed in his house with his head in the sun, and didn't move very much, not even when we rigged up a platform for shade - concerned he was over heated.
If the weather continues to be sunny, how can we get him to have suitable amount of food and light?
Also, because he was semi buried, or asleep - Tiny tortoise didn't have a bath today.
We're a bit worried.

CLEAN'N HEALTHY
Today was tiny tortoises bath, when inside... he didn't seem like it! Because of this, it was quite hard to clean him with his personal tooth brush! After seventeen mins of washing and waiting, tiny tortoise earned a rest. We plopped him down on a towel to explore, not only did he explore his towel, he explored quarter of the living room! However when he was back on his towel, he did his first wee - this is very exiting.

BURIED ALIVE!
Today I was just passing the tortoise enclosure when I noticed that I couldn't see tiny tortoise, out of curiosity I peered inside. He was no where to be seen! At first I thought he'd escaped, but then I noticed a small black pile of dirt - he'd buried himself! We think this is because either: He needed some privacy, wanted a rest or it was just too hot.

Today tiny tortoise arrived,he's a Mediterranean spur thigh (Testudo Graeca Ibera). His shell's just over 2 inches long and he's about a year old. As soon as he came,he started exploring by shoving his nose into, or clambering over everything. Once finishing his inspection of the ground, tiny tortoise turned his expertise to climbing his enclosure, which seems to be a talent of his!
